Galileos 3-Dimensional Diagnostics

Staying at the cutting edge of technology is a high priority here at Rota Advanced Dental Care. We are continually looking for technologies that improve our quality of care and the efficiency with which we deliver that care.

Recently, we acquired a particularly significant new technology: The Galileos three-dimensional digital radiography system. You can see a photograph of that system below. We own one of only two dental offices in the entire state of Colorado that have this sophisticated equipment. Other dentists and oral surgeons are currently sending patients to our office for diagnostic imaging.

This technology is particularly helpful for dental implant surgery. When you receive dental implants, the specific location of those implants in your bone is critical. Anatomical structures such as nerves, blood vessels, sinus cavities, and bony concavities, need to be avoided. Three-dimensional diagnostic x-rays are essential to this process.other structures. When dentists try to shortcut this important diagnostic step, it increases the rate of accidents and dental implant failure.
