How Botox® Works

Botox is a neuromuscular inhibitor. It relaxes the muscles that create tension lines and creases in the face. It usually takes about three to five days to take effect, but in some cases it may take as long as two weeks to see the effects. The effect isn't permanent, so repeat treatments are needed every three to six months.
Botox is so popular because it is a non-surgical alternative to a facelift. It is simple, quick, and inexpensive. It makes your face look more relaxed, rested, and younger.
