Galileos 3-Dimensional Diagnostics

One of our more recent technological acquisitions is the Galileos three-dimensional digital radiography system, pictured above. We are one of a handful of dental offices in the state of Colorado that have this advanced technology, and we currently have other dentists and oral surgeons sending patients to our office for diagnostic work-ups.

When dental implants are placed, it is critical to have a three-dimensional picture of your jawbone and the anatomical structures within it - the nerves, blood vessels, sinus cavities, and other structures. When dentists try to shortcut this important diagnostic step, it increases the rate of accidents and dental implant failure.

Intra-oral Digital Photography

While x-rays provide valuable information that we can't get from any other source, they can't show you everything that's going on in your mouth. That's why we use the intra-oral camera-a highly advanced piece of diagnostic equipment that enlarges pictures of your teeth 40 times their actual size. Detailed digital pictures are especially helpful when diagnosing worn and cracked fillings and teeth that aren't visible by x-ray.

Digital X-Rays

We use only digital x-rays which deliver up to 90% less radiation. Less radiation means greater safety for our patients while still maintaining a high level of diagnosis.

Electronic Charting

Our office is paperless. That means all of our notes and history of your dentistal treatment are stored on our secured server. Access to your records is instantaneous which increases our efficiency, giving us more time to spend helping our patients.

CEREC CAD/CAM Dentistry

We also use the latest technology in cosmetic dentistry-CEREC. CEREC technology allows patients to experience transformations with fillings, crowns, and veneers in just ONE VISIT!

CEREC is probably the most incredible technology to come along in dentistry since the application of anesthesia. CEREC is a computerized design software that enables our doctors to design porcelain crowns and fillings in a matter of minutes as opposed to days and weeks by a dental lab. Through our doctors well-trained knowledge of function, attention to detail and artistic eye, we achieve results that are not only beautiful but also extremely functional and durable.

Dental Lasers

A number of different kinds of lasers are used in dentistry, and they are particularly useful for treating the gums and soft tissue problems. The benefits of laser treatment include painless treatment, faster healing times, less bleeding, and reduced swelling. Often times, dental lasers can be used with little or no anesthesia.

CAESY Education Systems

In addition to our technologically advanced instruments, you will find extensive information about your condition or treatment on our CAESY network. CAESY is a patient education system which provides you with the most up-to-date information through printouts and videos so that you can make educated decisions regarding your treatment.

Neuromuscular Dentistry

For those patients that require full-mouth rehabilitation, our special training in neuromuscular dentistry assures not only a beautiful result, but also a comfortable bite. EMG studies are performed on your facial musculature and jaw movement to identify the proper resting position for your new dentation.

The Wand

The Wand is the latest in delivering comfortable, local anesthetic know by most patients as novacaine. The Wand enables a very slow and painless delivery of anesthesia through an extremely thin needle.
