Veneers
Creating a beautiful new smile with porcelain veneers requires only ONE visit at the Rota & Smith Dental Center. A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded to a tooth to improve its color and shape. Porcelain veneers can be used to straighten smiles, close spaces, lengthen small or mishapen teeth, or whiten stained or dart teeth. When teeth are chipped or beginning to wear, veneers can protect them from damage and restore their original appearance.
Veneers have a very natural appearance with the strength, beauty, and durability only porcelain restorations can provide. Veneers transmit light resulting in a more translucent appearance which provides a beautiful, natural looking smile.
After a thorough discussion with Dr. Rota or Dr. Smith to establish your goals and what can and cannot be done, we shape and roughen the teeth. We then use CEREC technology to design and create the perfect veneer. An adhesive is used to bond the veneers to the teeth, and a harmless, high-intensity light hardens the adhesive. Once in place, your veneers look and feel just like your own teeth and create a perfectly brilliant smile.
